Linsey’s expansive chest is cast in London to immortalize her famous breasts and torso. The initial casting process takes patience as the model must hold very still, although the setting time of most modern molding material is a slim 8 to 9 minutes. In the past, the model’s body was coated with Vaseline and strips of plasterized bandages were placed on the body but here the technicians are using a different process. The finished LDM torso would be 18 inches high, 16 inches wide and 8 inches deep and probably weigh 16 kg. The cast material — the stuff that is poured into the mold — is made of a special high quality plaster. Once the mold is made and a sculpture produced, it is sanded and painted and sometimes draped with fabric. The varnish and paint helps to waterproof and protect the sculpture from the elements. Please note that LinseysWorld does not sell this bust cast and have no contact with the company that did this. As far as we know, no reproductions were ever manufactured. Our LinseysWorld photographer was there simply to record the casting process and try to get a chance to hand rub the gunk onto Linsey’s boobs. Unfortunately, he couldn’t depress the shutter and slop LDM’s chest at the same time so the true experts handled the blue goo application. Then it was off to the blessed showers for LDM.
